Chapter 9 Synopsis:

  • MA work was made in parental home, photographs of scenarios in house.
  • Father had just retired and house was being cleared of children's stuff.
  • Helen Sear had suggested photographing in family home.
  • Parents didn't approve of or understand her life.
  • Parents took part in project because it was for an educational project.
  • Although parents were in photographs project was about Trish and growing up.
  • Next project was 'Seven years'.
  • Had sorted through family photographs and asked parents to identify them.
  • Parents sometimes disagreed about what pictures showed.
  • Became interested in family photography.
