Home Instead
Getting away from the traditions of housing in Britain, thinking outside the box, there is a large minority of people who choose a different box to live in. There are all sorts of reasons why people choose different environments in which to live, being self-sufficient and respecting the land around them is one thing that these people have in common. These photographs represent a wide cross section of people who choose to live in less traditional accommodation. My challenge was to represent this life style as if you had just stepped into it, an invisible presence observing curiously. It is another aspect of British life that should be valued and it's my way of understanding that.
