This body of work was based on a study of a modern day extended family. I wanted to look at how new larger families form through remarriage and how the step-parents and step-children interact and cope with living together as one family unit. This project examined the everyday lives of a family of 8, a mother and her 3 children and the father and his three children, all living together, capturing the problems and the pleasures of this family as they adjust to their new lives together.
