Temporal Lobe Journeys
The Temporal Lobe, situated in the brain, is responsible for sound, sight and memory functions, which will be fundamental in viewing my work. Within my final degree project I have been exploring the elements that make up the experience of time passing. For example, what it is to move on leaving a place as a memory and how this affects or changes our original perspective. An integral part of 'change of perspective' is journey or moving and without this there would be no way of making a comparison. This will be shown through an installation with elements of stills and moving pictures. I intend that each viewer will walk away with individual ideas and emotions as a result of my work that may differ from my own perceptions.
