The Great Outdoors
The Great Outdoors is a reflective exploration of agoraphobia. Agoraphobia is a restrictive and isolating condition that manifests itself as a fear of open spaces or the outdoors, sometimes as a result of an anxiety disorder. This series of photographs is quiet yet uncomfortable, intimate yet somber. Using self portraiture and images of my own home, I attempted to portray the silent helplessness of the condition.
