This body of work deals with issues that surround the oral contraceptive pill. Originally the pill was invented to give women control and freedom over their own bodies but this work sheds light on the negative side and effects of this type of contraception. It questions the safety of the pill that most women take on a day-to-day basis and are perhaps controlled and restricted by the medication. Are they aware of the damage to the body, emotionally and physically? The work also has sadness to it as it portrays a loss for something that is not there.
