Deconstructing Movement has originated from Kirill Slokotovich's early interest in the extreme sport of Parkour. The work is an analysis of human motion, which uses Parkour as a vessel to carry it out. The viewer is presented with a sequence of movements, which in turn is deconstructed in order to gain a much better understanding of its components. Deconstructing Movement uses human interaction with man-made objects in an interesting way as often the actual purpose of these structures is much different from the one that is being attributed to them.
