The Ghost Image
“The Ghost Image” is an exploration of archival material, focusing on family and personal archives. Delving into themes of intergenerational trauma and therapeutic art, this collection examines the power of the family album and the impermanence of memory. Through obsolete equipment and vintage recording tools, the exhibit portrays the failure of memory capture, mirroring the unreliability of trauma memory. Using collage as a medium, the artworks depict the healing process and resolution of personal trauma, reflecting on the passage of time and the therapeutic nature of art.
