Embrace
‘Embrace’ is a visual journey that has been guided by a fashion or editorial aesthetic. Within this work subjects are portrayed within their carefully chosen environment, with images seeking to capture moments that prompt reflection on the feeling of comfort within their space. Each shoot was guided by dialogues surrounding self-acceptance, with the hope of capturing instances of intimacy or vulnerability, often there is a tension in the avoidance or holding of the camera’s gaze. Throughout this body of work, there is a celebration of both masculine and feminine energies, ultimately serving as a personal exploration of my journey towards embracing and affirming my bisexuality.
