Diaphanous
Diaphanous To be diaphanous is to be transparent. Diaphanous portrays the body and femininity of a woman. It relates to the notion of confidence and empowerment of one’s own body through experimental alternative processes and post-production. My passion in photography recently has been discovering the idea of confidence due to personal insecurities as well as exploring experimentation with Lomography. Lomography is the technique of soaking rolls of film in a liquid before development, enhancing its saturations and adding damages to the photograph. The idea of damaging a roll of film is intriguing to me as the results are always unknown, making my photographic practice much more exciting and modern.
