On the Line
This series, On the Line is about the fleeting relationships we have with people on a daily basis without really acknowledging them. When thinking about fleeting relationships I thought about my own life on a daily basis and how train travel is quite a private journey yet a lot of people use it. For the purpose of this body of work I wanted to remove the face as an identifiable marker and photograph what they left behind. The stories are imaginative profiles on who I think the person was that sat there. The images were produced in a three-month period between Livingston South to Edinburgh Waverley stations.
