Heavy Metal Family
Every year in the month of August, over ten thousand people gather in the grounds surrounding Catton Hall for Bloodstock Open Air festival. A coming together of people with common interests, a love of heavy metal and the festival experience. What is often not considered is the time between the annual gathering. Do people stay connected? In the months that occur between the festivals, there is a group of people who frequent the Bloodstock Forums, an online community of the goers that contains love, laughs, drama and support in times of need. Many of these people come from the far reaches of the UK, and some from other countries. Yet the relationships are maintained through this online form of communication.
