In today's modern society the demand for fuel has increased rapidly in order to feed our demand to further technology and improve our quality of life. This has created the need for Fracking, a process involving extracting natural gas from rock deep in the earth surface and has become an increasing alternative method used to produce fuel. This process has been faced with wide criticism due to the environmental consequences which can arise. Currently in Northern Ireland several areas have been marked for possible Fracking sites including County Fermanagh where these images where taken. To illustrate the possible devastation this process would have on such a beautiful landscape, each photograph was hit with a sandblaster ripping and puncturing the scenery to illustrate the scarred landscape as a direct result of Fracking.
