The Sunday Market, Bristol
‘The Sunday Market’ is a unique market based in Bristol at the Tobacco Factory, a building rescued by Bristol’s first elected Mayor and George Ferguson. It is one of the few remaining buildings from the old imperial Tobacco site. A wide-ranging selection of independent stalls selling foods, clothes, jewellery, homeware and many other products, including locally brewed beers. These products predominantly made by craftspeople with locally sourced raw materials, with fair trade collaborations in countries like Nepal, and with organic food producers in and around Bristol and the southwest. It’s a market where people are centre stage, where goods are made with love and care, where local goods and community togetherness are centre stage.
