Here and Then. Now and There
How can we perceive our location in time? This body of work is a dimensional synthesis of movement through space (x, y, z, t) and time (t), an interplay between the two and their dimensions. In an attempt to understand time and simultaneity beyond human experience, photography extends the process of making an image into a representation of time, producing slices of spatial time. Individuals and their traces within this space become the markers of time. By combining these slices in various arrangements, we unlock several systems (x, y, z, t) where past, present, and future coexist simultaneously and the dimensions of space and time are treated equally.
