Nick Gardner
DOGS@JOBS
Nick Gardner is a London based photographer who is fascinated by the relationship between humans and dogs. His previous project 'Symbiosis' looked at the work carried out by Search and Rescue, Medical Detection and Support Dogs. DOGS@JOBS is more personal, inspired by Nick’s childhood on the Norfolk Broads where his family ran a small Post Office. Living above the premises meant that everyone was involved with the business. This included the family’s black Labrador who would spend her time under the Post Office counter from the moment the shop opened in the morning until closing time at 5pm. DOGS@JOBS is a tribute to all dogs who currently provide support and companionship to their owners throughout the working day.
