May I Follow the Illuminance to Shine upon You
'May I Follow the Illuminance to Shine upon You' is my perception of a foreign land and a calling for home. I follow the moonlight, capturing the unfamiliar place through observations and encounters. The photographs, which were taken after the moonrise, portray landscapes bathed in illuminance, objects influenced by her presence, and moon-like resemblances. The moon, symbolizing the connection between disparate spaces and bearing witness to the ebb and flow of life, becomes the metaphor for the deep sense of belonging. As living abroad has permanently altered my perspective of the world, whenever I get lost, she guides me back to where my roots lie and my beloved ones are, allowing me to rediscover myself once more.
